Unplug and unwind from the hustle and bustle of city life with Origame’s play retreat in collaboration with the award-winning Sukasantai Farmstay - a cosy mountain retreat nestled in the middle of an organic farm, located at Gunung Gede, West Java, Indonesia.

If you're crossing a milestone, standing at an important crossroads at work or in life, or just looking for space/time to decompress, join the Play Retreat and explore nature, have meaningful conversations, and play board games without digital distractions. 

 

During this 5 day 4 night retreat, choose from a wide range of activities during the day such as a bamboo forest trek, picking and brewing your very own herbal tea, interacting with farm animals, firefly-watching, and more.

 

Retire to an evening of fun and food, with an experienced gamemaster from Origame guiding you through a tasteful selection of modern Asian board games tailored to the interests of players.

 

All meals are included in this package, featuring healthy and fresh farm-to-table Indonesian meals, with organic produce grown and harvested on site.

This was my second time attending, and it was such a wonderful experience that I already want to come back! We enjoyed relaxing in beautiful surroundings and meeting people from all over the world.

 

I also brought friends who were new to board games, and a child. Everyone had a great time thanks to the friendly support and welcoming atmosphere. I’m very grateful to Origame for their wonderful hospitality!

The Play Retreat was one of the most unique and unforgettable experiences I've ever had! We hiked through a bamboo forest, to a tea plantation, planted and harvested fruits and vegetables, fed baby cows, and befriended resident farm cats.

 

All throughout, our hosts taught us a variety of board games and made sure everyone felt included, while Sukasantai Farmstay provided a beautiful, relaxed setting and served us delicious family-style meals.

There is no menu at Sukasantai Farmstay. Every day is a new culinary adventure where we cook something new depending on what's in season at the farm and the creativity of our chef, but these are a sample of the dishes that are served at Sukasantai Farmstay.
