Ages 8+. 10-25 minutes playtime. 2-4 players.
The Coding is a deduction game where victory is acquired by intelligently outsmarting other players. You play a hacker who attempts to cover his own secret data while trying to hack the true unrevealed data of other players. Alphabets and Numbers make up the code.
At the start of the game, each player receives 1 Alphabet card and 2 Number cards to protect. The goal of the game is be the last in the game whose code cards cannot be revealed.
During your turn, you declare what your code is not by picking Data cards that tell everyone what is not in your code. For example, picking Data card 'A-B' tells everyone that your code does not contain A or B. After this, you may pick a Hack card to ask guess what someone else's code contains.
Play for 4 rounds before attempting to decode each other's code. If you guess correctly, that player is out of the game. If you guess wrongly, you have to reveal one of your code cards. The last one to remain undecoded wins.
